At ATS, we make the document preparation process easy for both attorneys and non-attorney agents. Our step-by-step process ensures efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all required documents. We never communicate with your clients, ensuring you maintain you relationships unencumbered. Our goal is to ensure that the Trust Document Preparation Process is seamless, efficient, and tailored to the specific needs of both attorneys and non-attorney agents in the Bay Area and California.
For Attorneys:
- Complete the Trust Application form with your client.
- Gather real property deeds, promissory notes, timeshare membership documents, etc.
- Email the Trust Application and supporting documents to ATS.
- ATS prepares and emails you a draft summary of the trust variables.
- You review the draft, confirm the details, and provide drafting instructions.
- ATS finalizes the documents and ships them to you via UPS Ground.
- You meet with your clients to execute the documents and initiate funding.
For Non-Attorney Agents:
- Complete the Trust Application form with your client.
- Collect real property deeds, promissory notes, timeshare membership documents, etc.
- The client selects and enrolls with a supervising attorney for legal consultation by signing an Attorney-Client Fee Agreement and making payment directly to the Attorney.
- Email the Trust Application and documents to ATS.
- Snail mail the signed attorney agreement and payment by check (or money order) directly to the chosen attorney.
- The attorney consults with the client via telephone, reviews the client’s information, confirms the details, and provides drafting instructions to ATS.
- ATS completes the final documents and ships them Agentvia UPS Ground.
- You meet with the clients to execute the documents and initiate funding.
